Sound source: a layer of hundreds of complex waveforms in the frequency range of 1 to 10 Hz.
The original sound has been manipulated with the aid of software programs dedicated to sound spectrum elaboration, and then cut in hundreds of fragments, each one with its own amplitude envelope. To obtain different “tactile” qualities the envelopes have been designed one by one using a computer aided composition software, that has allowed, via algorithms for the perturbations, to work on the variations of the surface of the envelope.
